Series 60. Pure Kolinsky Sable Swordliner
There is no doubt Kolinsky is the best hair available for the manufacture of artists’ brushes due to being conical in shape, strong in character with a long tapered point and thick belly. The excellent snap & spring together with immense liquid holding capacity make them a first choice for watercolourists.
The Series 60 Sword Liner is also called a 'liner' or 'sword'. They are fashioned at an angle and extruded to a slim point for lining, offering continuous flow due to a magnificent water holding capacity.
If you prefer a synthetic alternative, try our Red Dot Collection Sword Liners which are 100% synthetic and vegan friendly.
A favourite for sharp, bold lines which lead to bold strokes. They make an excellent brush for thin, fine lines.
The Series 60 are favoured by watercolourists, but work well in thinned down oils too.
