A beautiful new addition to our ranges, these are made with the best quality Red Sable hair which is well renowned for it's liquid holding capacity and spring.
Fashioned on a matt burgundy handle which has a bulbous part enabling the fingers and hand to sit comfortably.
The Series 101 have proved popular with our customers, for example with arthritis and those who found holding a brush for a length of time uncomfortable. An added bonus is they don't roll off the table!

Q: What size is the brush head? is it like a size 9 watercolour brush? How does the size compare with the R14. Is that like a size 14 watercolour brush?

A: Dear Pam, The R9 is an exact equivalent to the Series 170 size 10/0 Squirrel Mop Brush. Its the larger Squirrel mop in the Reversible family and measures 21mm long with a diameter of 7.5mm ( approximately ). The R14 is a smaller size Mop for finer details.

Q: Hi, I am keen on the R9 pocket brush which I'm my catalogue comes with a white handle finish yet on the website it has a light wood finish ,which is correct?

A: Recently we have changed our R9's to the natural varnished wood handle for the manufacturing purposes. Unfortunately the current catalogue is out of date - we are due to the new one out Dec 2017 with all pictures updated ( including the R9 pocket brush ).

Q: How does the medium pocket mop brush fit back into the cap once the hair has dried? It looks too fluffy to squeeze into the cap without ruining the shape ie. stray hairs sticking out.

A: Great question! The key to the reversible/travel brushes is the pack them back into the lids when they are wet. Once you've used them, pop them back into the lid and they will stay there. Wet them back up and do that. They have a hole in the end that allows the brushes to breathe. I hope this helps! Symi
